We are proud to announce that on January 4, 2023, Waverly Construction & Management Co. celebrated its 30th anniversary!

During our years in business, we have had the privilege of working with remarkable customers, talented designers, subcontractors, and staff. Through these relationships we have built projects ranging from interior fit-outs for healthcare and general business to warehouses, office buildings, and building renovations, retail complexes, ice arenas, assisted living and memory care facilities.

Waverly’s fourth year saw the formation of EastWave Building Company in Poland. Working with men and women of a different culture has been an extremely broadening experience. In its twenty-six year run, EastWave has been involved in development, design and build of over ten million square feet of logistics, office buildings, refrigerated storage, and manufacturing facilities.

From the beginning, we have approached our businesses with a shared philosophy…To be honest, direct, and clear; To be responsive and exceed expectations as we Build Trust on Two Continents. We will approach the next thirty years with the same commitment to our business partners both here and abroad.

Rather than partying like it’s 1993, we will commemorate this milestone by making donations to causes very important to us. The William S Baer School and Special Olympics Maryland are incredible organizations that serve children, young men and women with disabilities, often requiring very specialized care.

Thank you for your support through the years.

We look forward to many more!

It was a Great Day to Walk!

2021-10-26T13:01:46+00:00

Waverly Construction teamed up with Brightview Senior Living for a second year in Baltimore’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s that was held on October 23, 2021 in Hunt Valley, MD.  We walked with our families, friends (both old and new!), co-workers, and business associates; all towards one goal:  A world without Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.

We walk because no one should have to face this disease and the challenges it brings.  Our Waverly family knows this only too well.  In the past 15+ years, we have had two staff members whose spouses were diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s. And many of us have had our own family members that have or are suffering some form of dementia.  It is heartbreaking to watch and devastating to live through.

Such a tragic disease, yet an inspiring event.  To see so many people working towards the same goal is just AWESOME!

The Heritage Building at Ginger Cove and Care Giver Award

2021-05-12T18:20:14+00:00

We have successfully completed construction of The Heritage Building; a 67,000 square foot Assisted Living and Memory Care facility located on the 30-acre water-front campus of the Ginger Cove Community in Annapolis, Maryland. The building offers an environment in which those requiring assistance, including individuals struggling with the effects of Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia, can live in a safe, comfortable, and attractive surrounding.

In addition to providing construction services, Waverly has become involved in supporting Ginger Cove as it develops its annual award for Exemplary Care Givers.  These too often unsung heroes not only provide care, but attentiveness, compassion, and a form of friendship to residents who are often facing their challenges alone.

Our Team has come to understand that quality of care translates directly to quality of life. We are proud to support Ginger Cove in this important undertaking.
